How can I become a trailer maker or a TV-Commercial maker?

Just like Amanda in “The Holiday” movie, I want to become a trailer maker or TV commercial maker (not a 3D designer cause’ I’m not good at design, just create an idea or creative thing). And I don’t know which major I have to learn, which college or University has the course. I even don’t know a name of this job in English. Could you please help me?
